The Haven is a purpose-built outdoor photography location in Sharjah, designed by a photographer around the angles and the light rather than converted from something else. Every wall, arch and step is placed to give you a clean frame and a hard, graphic shadow.

The set is whitewashed and Mediterranean: freestanding arched walls that read against open blue sky, deep colonnades and pergolas that throw striped shadows across the floor, and external staircases you can shoot from above or below. A row of terracotta and clay amphorae lines one of the walkways, and the ground is pale travertine, so light bounces back into faces without a reflector.

At the centre is a swimming pool with turquoise water and a sun-deck, dressed with thatched palm parasols, yellow loungers, woven mats and rattan side tables. A separate boho cabana sits under white gauze drapes with daybeds, cushions and pampas, and a courtyard nook with a yellow door, rattan seating and lattice screens gives you a warmer, shaded corner. Date palms and desert planting run through the whole site.

The hourly rate is inclusive of bathroom access, an air-conditioned room for changing and breaks, and a clothing rack. Events are welcome. Joined shoots are not permitted, so no two separate photographers or model groups sharing the same slot. A photography service can be provided on request.

Best for fashion and editorial shoots, bridal and wedding portraits, beauty and swimwear campaigns, brand content and reels, lookbooks, music videos, film and video production, influencer and social content, maternity and family portraits, and small private events.

Natural light all day, restrooms, air-conditioned room, clothing rack and on-site parking. Al Riqaibah is an easy run from Sharjah city, Dubai and Ajman.
